This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

In our classroom, we love to learn. We always strive to be better than when we started. Our motto in our classroom is "We enter to learn, and we leave to achieve."

My school is made up of students where 98 percent have free or reduced lunch.

My 3rd grade students come from homes where they might not have the access to adequate technology. Affording technological items come second to food and other necessities. Even though my students might have limitations in their household, I strive to create an atmosphere where they have access to technology.

My Project

The students I work with want to learn, but they do not have the necessary tools to learn in this technological age. I will be able to engage my students more and keep them coming back to class. My students will use the iPad to increase their prior knowledge of a skill. The students will also use the iPad as an intervention tool to review skills in order to ensure maximum learning outcomes.

My students deserve the opportunity to have a quality education.

By being able to have access to interactive technology, such as an iPad, my students who already have a high yearning for learning will gain the necessary boost to motivate not only themselves but the class that will follow them.
