This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My class is a group of lively, positive, fun-loving, and inquisitive children. They come to school each day with a growth mindset, believing that they can and will learn more and behave better than the day before. And they do. They easily soak up everything I teach them from academics to interpersonal skills.

I am hoping to provide them with the meaningful, hands-on learning experiences they need and deserve.

Please join me in creating opportunities for them that they will remember for a lifetime!

My Project

Research shows that movement helps promote learning, which is just one reason why P.E. instruction is so important in schools. Quality P.E. instruction should allow students to not only work on their physical fitness but also their team-building skills and self-confidence.

My students love to play games, but we do not currently have the equipment to practice skills used in team sports.

I would love the opportunity to teach my students how to play football. My students need footballs, flag football belts, pylons, cones, and a kicking tee to learn how to play. This equipment will allow them to learn the rules of the game and practice the skills necessary to play. Please help us get to the end zone!
