My Project

My students are exceptional, consistently approaching art class with enthusiasm and curiosity. Their diverse backgrounds enrich our learning environment, and even when we don’t share a common spoken language, we communicate seamlessly through the universal language of art. I have observed that many students face challenges with color mixing, particularly with combinations such as creating green. This material is designed to support them in developing that skill.

Color theory helps students understand why colors work together, not just that they look good.

They learn how to mix, match, and use color intentionally, which improves the quality and confidence of their artwork. Color theory blends art with science (light, perception), math (ratios, patterns), and even language arts (storytelling through visuals). This helps students make connections across subjects.
