My Project

Multilingual Learners (MLLs) and students with fine motor or dexterity challenges need accessible, responsive tools that enable them to fully engage in learning. This project will provide a 13-inch Apple iPad to support language development, communication, and participation through high-quality, interactive technology.

The larger screen size will assist students who have difficulty with precise touch or coordination by offering increased space for navigation, larger icons, and improved visual accessibility.

For MLL students, the iPad will be equipped with educational apps, read-aloud tools, and interactive activities to enhance listening, speaking, reading, and writing in both English and their home language.

This device will serve as a daily tool for individualized instruction, communication support, and inclusive classroom access — helping students overcome barriers and thrive.

Our classroom is filled with curious, hard-working learners from diverse language and ability backgrounds. Many are Multilingual Learners developing English proficiency, and several face fine motor or coordination difficulties that can make writing, using small tools, or even turning pages a challenge.

These students are determined, capable, and deserving of the best tools to aid them in succeeding. A 13-inch iPad will provide them with the space, functionality, and flexibility they need to engage confidently with classroom content.
