My awesome third-grade students are eager learners full of curiosity and wonder. They are explorers, creators, risk-takers, and decision-makers. Their love of learning is evident as they enthusiastically search for meaning and think outside the box to find answers to real-life math and science situations.
Our classroom is a safe environment where mistakes are proof that we are trying.
Each student has a learning style unique to his/her personality. I strive to incorporate a variety of learning strategies, collaborative work, and alternative seating options to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are!

Touch screen Chromebooks are developmentally appropriate for 8 to 9-year-old children. We use our Chromebooks to research topics, create Google Slideshows, complete assignments in Google Classroom, and for online review and assessment tools such as Quizlet and Gimkit. These opportunities encourage my students to take risks and approach learning with a growth mindset.
