This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My moderate severe special education high school students enjoy experiencing multi-sensory learning! Their smiles will light up a room when they are excited and engaged with learning. While functional mathematics is the primary academic focus of my classroom providing students with the tools and strategies to develop self-regulation, focus and behavior skills is a critical component of our daily instruction. Seeing, touching, and listening help my students succeed and make progress toward their Individual Education goals. Your generosity is greatly appreciated by my students, parents and myself!
