Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
At our school, many of our students receiving special education services love coming to school to learn, see their friends, and play sports together. These activities help them build confidence, practice teamwork, and develop important social skills in a supportive environment.
We would love to add cornhole to our unified sports and social skills activities so all students can participate and have fun together.
Cornhole is a game that encourages turn-taking, coordination, and positive peer interaction while allowing students of all abilities to play side by side.
We are requesting high-quality wooden cornhole boards that will give our students the opportunity to enjoy structured outdoor play, practice sportsmanship, and develop friendships through active, inclusive games. Your support will help bring more joy, movement, and teamwork opportunities to our students each day.
