My students need a classroom makeover. We lost a large majority of classroom materials and furniture due to a tornado that hit our city on April 15, 2018.

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are smart, creative, and fun-loving. They are eager to learn and excited about learning. We are a Montessori Program and our "friends" as we call them, learn best by doing. They enjoy being able to choose works on their own. It gives them a sense of independence and individuality.

We are the Superstar Students, where we meet new friends, and learning comes easy.

My students are the coolest group of Kindergartners you will meet. Help us out, please!

My Project

These materials will help our class return to a normal learning environment. The students will be able to walk into the classroom on the first day of school and feel a sense of security when they see their new classroom makeover.

An EF2 Tornado hit our city on April 15, 2018 destroying a large portion of our school and our classroom.

We were not able to return to our school for the remainder of the school year. We finished the school year at another school where we will spend the 2018-2019 school year. My children need a warm and inviting classroom to return to this year.
