This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As the Lunar New Year approaches, it's an opportunity for my students to have a fresh start for those who enjoy setting resolutions. The 2025 Lunar New Year will begin almost at the same time as the second semester at our school. This will be a perfect time to have the resources my students need, such as blank shirts. I'd like to have my students collaborate, create, and make t-shirts using the Cricut Maker and accessories. It would be awesome to have my students make something that they can wear every club meeting day or on the weekends outside of school for events, to represent and be proud of who they are and what they have accomplished!
I am excited to see my students create a design together and see how their talents flourish.
The requested sweatshirts will allow my students to personalize their items and own their work. This will teach my students the importance of teamwork and to be proud of what they can create together. I am excited to embark on this crafty mission with my students.
