Your gift of notebooks brought relief to my students when they were able to select a notebook for class. In addition, many students ask for another notebook to journal their feelings through writing and drawing. Journaling allows students to freely express emotions.\r\n\r\nKleenex and hand sanitizer provide a safe state of mind for students. I would like you to envision students running into my room for Kleenex and a squirt of hand sanitizer as they say hello and thank you all at once. It is not so much that students need the items but it makes them feel seen and provides a feeling of validation for them.
