This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

In the 21st century, technology skills are vital. But technology can be expensive, and public schools across the country are struggling to stay up-to-date when facing budget cuts.

My goal is to make sure all my students have an equal shot at a great education by using technology on a daily basis.

My class has children from culturally, economically, and educationally diverse backgrounds. I want to provide them with technology access they cannot get at home. This project will narrow the gap between students who have access to technology at home and those who don’t. This iPad will provide many hands-on learning experiences for them.

My Project

The use of top-notch resources from Teachers Pay Teachers would be a great addition to refresh our new yespar in distance learning. I use many resources from this great website. A gift card would be valuable and useful. There are vast digital resources that would go perfectly with our current situation.

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.

Students will be able to simply focus on the academic material at hand, and not whether or not they have the paper, consumable textbooks, reading materials, and other tools that a real classroom provides. Plus in this technology literate world, any interaction with updated technology will increase their literacy as well as their desire to learn and use the new technology!

However, I can’t forget that they need art and a break from their screens. I’m hopeful that the watercolor paint sets will provide those wonderful opportunities to see the beauty of making art.
