My Project

What I love most about my students is their resilience and determination. Many of them face challenges with learning that can be discouraging, but they show up every day ready to try again. They are curious, kind, and full of potential—and I want to give them every possible opportunity to succeed.

The resources I’m requesting will directly support our small group intervention time, which is a vital part of their learning journey.

The mesh zipper bags will help students stay organized and take ownership of their materials—keeping their flashcards, pencils, and manipulatives in one easy-to-access place. This small step toward independence builds confidence and makes our limited time together more efficient.

Flexible seating will give students a choice in where and how they learn best. Many of our learners benefit from movement or nontraditional seating to stay focused and engaged. A comfortable and welcoming environment encourages participation and reduces stress during intervention.

The pegboard display will serve as a visual anchor for our students’ progress with flashcards—helping them celebrate what they’ve mastered while giving them a clear view of what’s next. It adds an element of ownership and motivation that makes learning feel more personal.

Finally, we’re excited to incorporate a Glow Day classroom transformation into our intervention groups. This fun and engaging theme will use glow-in-the-dark materials and task cards to turn review and practice into something students genuinely look forward to. It’s an exciting way to build enthusiasm for learning and create positive associations with skill-building.

Every item in this project has been carefully chosen to support student growth, independence, and joy. Thank you for helping us make intervention time something our students are proud to be part of!
