My Project
I love that my students have big hearts, curious minds, and a genuine love for learning. They’re incredibly sweet and full of personality—with interests ranging from soccer to a serious love of pandas! (That’s why the panda chair made the list—it’ll bring one student so much joy.)
To support their sensory and emotional needs, I’ve included pillows, soft seating, mats, and a cozy rug to create a calming space where they can regulate their emotions.
The lamp will provide softer lighting to reduce sensory overload, and the desk dividers will support students with ADHD by helping them stay focused and avoid distractions.
I’ve also included fidgets, LEGOs, puzzles, stuffed animals, and weighted blankets to give students tools to self-soothe and take breaks as needed—so they can return to learning calm, centered, and ready.
Each item on this list has a purpose: to create a safe, supportive environment where my students with emotional and behavioral disorders can feel at peace and do their best learning.
