Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a special education teacher, I am constantly being challenged to modify and change curriculum to support my students. My students need to learn how to say basic words in English which the vocabulary cards will help me with teaching. I also am trying to better relate to my students by reading some of the high interest books they like which I included in my project. I also included large teaching tools since the ones I was creating with paper were not allowing me to deliver appropriate instruction so these large math tools will help me with this as I try to teach visually impaired students.

My students also need hands on reading support which these phonics-based word work tools and comprehension cards will support.

These books, magnetic teaching materials, and literacy sets will help me create differentiated lessons that will support my many students with learning differences and special needs.
