This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Thank you for considering supporting our community of student's. I am a TAP (The Autism Program)Teacher for K-5 students in a school that values community and world development. When COVID 19 changed our lives as we knew them, the impact on all of our students continues. Students continue to make growth with new and improved resources that engage their interests and builds their confidence. Academically, having several different approaches to learning is necessary for our community of students and their challenges. The comfy chairs as an alternative seating option helps our students remain comfortable in their environment which helps them focus more on their learning. Your support provides for more opportunities for students to learn and grow despite their challenges. The fidgets help our students with autism focus better when doing a task. Thank you for your consideration.
