My Project
Students will develop purposeful listening and comprehension skills through exposure to a variety of audio materials. Following this, they will engage in speaking activities focused on the content they have heard and respond to diverse types of questions. These skills are critical for our multilingual learners.
Strong listening abilities enable students to understand communication within their school and community, while effective speaking skills empower them to navigate these environments confidently.
Cultivating these skills at an academic level equips students to excel in both their educational and career pursuits.
To support the development of these essential skills, students require appropriate tools tailored to their learning needs. Headsets equipped with audio playback capabilities for books, songs, practice exercises, and assessments, along with microphones for recording and reviewing responses, provide opportunities for repeated practice and instructional feedback. This also allows students to analyze their own recordings, fostering self-evaluation and error correction as part of their learning process.
When students build strong listening and speaking skills, they can complete assignments and assessments with greater ease, reducing frustration and anxiety. This enables them to engage meaningfully with tasks, materials, and peers in an inclusive learning environment. Consequently, access to high-quality headphones is vital to supporting our students' academic success and overall development.
