Tools To Help Big Feelings.

Help me give my students tools to improve their social emotional learning. Students will have new opportunites to access calming strategies like weighted ball and kinetic sand.

My Project

I am a school social worker at an elementary school that celebrates community, creativity, and arts integration. I get to help students learn how to identify emotions, teach regulation strategies, lead conflict mediations, problem solve, and provide them a space to go when school is feeling hard. My list includes storage bins so my office space can be a soothing place where things are organized and easily accessible.

I want to add a few new items that students can choose from to help regulate their body.

By having more tools available, students are more likely to be able to regulate and rejoin their classroom in learning. With your help, we can help provide new opportunities for our students!
