This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students attend our Rock Club voluntarily after school and lunch time practices. It is my third year leading the rock club, which was initially created to promote joy and wellness for all students at Nightingale Middle school, but the club has turned into one of the favorite clubs on campus. This year, the Rock Club has put on two performances at school assemblies, and will be performing at a few more locations before the end of the year.
The Rock club performances have truly brought joy and wellness to many students, and also to their proud family members.
With your help, students will be able to document the musical performances that they practiced all year-long for. I will assign students to record and take photographs, and then put together a project to celebrate their hard work an creativity.
All students currently only have a chromebook, but they need an adapter that plugs into the chromebook to transfer the photos and videos from a camera. Also, the student chromebooks only have a trackpad. The requested mouse will make it easier to drag and drop files into folders, and then to add them to the class project.
