Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are incredibly curios and full of potential, despite their everyday challenges and obstacles, they try hard to create a positive classroom environment that I cannot but think of the future leaders I have in my classroom. As an educator, I aspire to cultivate the love for learning and prepare my students for lifelong success. With the right tools, strategies, and materials there is no limit to what my students can achieve.
The requested materials in this project are tools and items that will open new ways of learning and discovery through different strategies such as using clip-whiteboards to think-pair-share and promote the ability to generate new and useful ideas for math and reading to enhance critical thinking.
The math posters are for visual representation and concepts to refer to. Place value whiteboards for math which will allow students to engage and visualize that different digits have different value right at their hands. The sharpeners will ensure color pencils and pencils are ready for use. The practice books will help me get students working from home in their homework packet reinforcing skills that are aligned with CCSS with scaffolded and independent varied practice activities.
