My Project
The students in my classroom are visual learners. I am requesting tools such as the Lakeshore Adjustable Pocket Chart Stand, Write and Wipe sentence strips, dry erase markers, a calendar pocket chart, and magnetic table top easels to assist in successfully delivering instruction that supports my students' visual needs. Each period, there are three staff members working with students either one on one or in a small group. The magnetic table top easels along with the dry erase markers and erasers will be placed at each of these tables to support math and reading lessons. Teachers and students will be able to use these boards to work through math problems, answer questions, and practice reading and spelling words. The pocket chart stand that is on wheels will be able to be easily moved to any area of the classroom to further support instruction. Letters will be placed in the pocket chart for word building practice. Sentence strips will also be used for grammar and vocabulary practice. With the addition of these valuable resources, my students will thrive.
