This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach in a bilingual class in Eastern Long Island. Any student new to the country enters our room. We focus on teaching how to speak, read and write in English! Extra supplies are always needed! I love to try to create a fun interactive space so the students are motivated to do their best. I appreciate any donation! I will use these resources to create an interactive engaging learning environment while we learn how to read and write in English! The goal is for us to move up as many reading levels as possible in reading during the school year and foster a love of reading in the students!
