My Project

My goal is to create a vibrant, hands-on learning environment where students can fully engage with science through experiments, creativity, and collaboration. To do this, I am requesting essential classroom tools—beakers (250 mL and 100 mL), Expo markers, glue, glue sticks, and colored pencils—to support instruction in environmental science, climate science, biology, and chemistry.

With the return of climate science and a renewed focus on both biology and environmental science, my students need access to tools that support active, student-centered labs and projects.

The beakers will be essential for conducting accurate experiments related to chemical reactions, biological systems, and environmental topics such as pollution, water quality, and ecosystem balance. Expo markers will be used during collaborative whiteboard sessions to diagram processes, collect data, and promote critical group discussions. Glue, glue sticks, and colored pencils will help bring scientific concepts to life through interactive notebooks, model-building, and detailed diagrams—encouraging creativity while deepening understanding.

Many of my students come from very low-income backgrounds and are unable to afford even basic school supplies. I work hard to provide everything they need so that all students—regardless of economic status—can participate equally in meaningful science learning. These resources will help us move beyond textbooks and simulations to real, hands-on experiences that reflect what students will encounter in college labs, technical training programs, and careers in STEM fields.

By supporting this project, you are giving my students the opportunity to become engaged, curious learners and problem solvers. You are helping build a classroom where environmental awareness, scientific thinking, and innovation thrive—preparing students for success in science and beyond.
