My Students
Hello! I teach in a K-2 school with approximately 1,000 students. Our school has a diverse population of students. My students are smart, enthusiastic, creative, hardworking, eager, and respectful. My classroom consists of students from all different backgrounds. I have high functioning students, low functioning students, and ELL students. My school offers reading and math interventions to aid struggling learners in their educational success.
I am dedicated to my students.
It is my goal to provide an inviting, nurturing, and warm classroom where each student feels comfortable.
Our school does not receive Title I funding. Thus, the technology and resources in my classroom are limited. Most of my resources are supplied by either myself or through parent donations. The environment provided by the administration, teachers, and staff is inviting and nurturing. We are dedicated to meeting the needs of each student that walks through the doors.
My Project
For this project, I am asking for six programmable, easy to use Bee Bot Robots. These robots are perfect for teaching sequencing, estimation, problem-solving, and just having fun! These robots are perfect for young children. In my classroom, I plan to specifically use them when learning about maps, directions, and force and motion. I have already thought of exciting challenges I would present to my students that would encourage them to think outside of the box and communicate with their peers. These Bee Bots would not only be a great way for students to have fun while learning, but also a great team-building activity for all students in my classroom.
