Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are a curious, creative, and determined group of learners who come to school each day excited to explore new ideas and work together. What makes them truly special is their compassion for each other, their resilience when facing challenges, and their excitement to connect classroom learning to the real world.

This project will provide essential tools to help them stay focused, collaborate, and engage in meaningful learning.

One of our key goals is to strengthen student focus and independence during online tasks—headphones will help students block out distractions while working on research projects and important online programs. Pencils will support writing, sketching, and responding to texts across all subject areas. Large chart paper will give students space to work in teams, organize their thinking, and present their learning visually.. Finally, Climate Science kits will bring our science lessons to life with hands-on investigations and inspire students to take real-world action.

With these materials, my students will be able to research, create, and communicate their ideas clearly and confidently. They’ll collaborate more effectively, stay engaged in their learning, and take pride in the work they do—together and independently.
