My Students

Third grade is fun year for students. They love learning about the world around them and they are starting to learn responsibility. They already have many technological skills but they start learning how to keyboard and learn how to use many different programs. They also learn cursive.

Third graders love to be creative and explore the world around them.

They also are at a critical year for reading as we transition between learning to read and reading to learn. Third grade is a fun year of school.

My Project

These tools will allow our classroom to do small groups for reading. The table will help a parent volunteer have a spot to help the students in my classroom. The Easel helps to have a movable easel that will help display what we are learning. The standing desk is a way to help the teacher to project things but still be in a standing position so she can move and help the students quickly.

The books are ones used to teach character and reading skills to the students.

All of these things will be used daily to help these students succeed in life. The goal in our classroom is to be life longer learners, these tools will help us reach that goal.
