Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Your generosity can support education and empower young minds to reach their fullest potential. Most of my students come from low S.E.S. households and are on free or reduced lunch. They're parents most times can not afford school materials or even backpacks for their children.
My goal as their teacher is to create an inviting and safe learning environment where no one goes without.
Having an inviting classroom with plenty of school supplies can make all the difference in their relationship with school. Budget cuts have put a strain on our district this year and I would love to be able to give my students the materials they need next year to be successful.
