My Project

My students work hard to incorporate text evidence into their writing.

My students love to share what they have learned with their families at home.

I have noticed that my students struggle to recall important details that would help their writing. I want to provide them with the tools they will need to take notes and help them succeed. With the world moving at a fast pace with technology, it is important to ground students with strategies and methods for note-taking that will improve memory retention, such as paper and pencil. When their brains are full and the computer is not charged, with notebooks and pencils, we can still go far.
