My Project

Time for Kids is an excellent resource for nurturing reading and critical thinking skills The physical and digital versions allow for flexibility in accessing content.

Having simple, disposable materials such as dry erase markers readily available to students allows them to quickly get to work and focus on problems, ideas, and concepts.

I find white boards and dry erase markers are one way to keep students from worrying about permanence or perfection and instead keep them focused on problem solving and learning.

As an educator attempting to champion the BeGLAD model for teaching core Math and ELA content within the context of Science and Social Studies standards, large rolls of paper are a must!

Finally, the addition of science equipment allows students hands-on practice to better understand measurement and data math standards.
