What I love about my students is everything! We are in a county with the highest number of families considered to be in poverty. Yet, these students come to school with hope. They come to school with a light inside them eager to learn. They are each a different little human, a different little soul, with different needs.
They have so many barriers, traumas, diagnoses, and now, COVID.
My Project
As the year continues students and staff struggle from the effects of the pandemic. Students have returned with academic loss, social skills deficits, and lack for better word, normal human school behavior.
They are lost, scared, and confused.
Help them with these anxiety and stress relief tools. In all my years working with youth fidgets have always been a great tool. They are a source of release. Student utilize these little tiny tools to communicate, to relieve built up stress, and to gain focus.
This project is all sensory tools for students who need that one thing to get them over the hump of life. Fidgets are a little magic and a little fun.
