My students are absolutely amazing. They come to school every day excited to learn and grow. Our school and team is a very special place; everyone is there for the same reason which is for the children.
My students come from all walks of life, but most of my students come from poverty.
No matter what is going on in their live,s they all come to school with a smile on their face and ready to learn. I want to give my students many opportunities they may not get at home.
My Project
My students will use a new Lenovo Chromebook every single day! At our school, our students use a variety of online blended learning programs to enhance student learning by mixing technology with different subjects. Students will use the Lenovo Chromebook for a variety of online blended learning programs including: Accelerated Reader to practice their reading comprehension skills by taking online book quizzes, ST math to build their math skills, and Edutyping to become advanced in their typing skills. My students are also learning the basic skills of programming, Power Point, and how to navigate through a computer. My students will also be excited to have a new electric pencil sharpener that they can use themselves to ensure they have tools to be successful! A quality pencil sharpener is a key to a successful classroom.
