Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are hard-working middle schoolers. They are social, energetic and self-aware. We work together on vocabulary study and other word work so that they can improve as readers.
They work hard to hone their skills in order to expand their vocabulary and grow as readers and writers of literature and informational text.
The materials requested will give students the tools they need so that they can be successful during their time in my class. The vocabulary game will provide practice for learned skills. The index cards will be used to create word sorts and to take notes from textbooks. The snacks will be motivators for hard work!
