Your kindness and investment in our classroom made a meaningful impact on both my students' learning and their love of reading.\r\n\r\nMy students truly enjoyed reading the novel in verse and quickly connected with the speaker's experiences, emotions, and sense of identity. Many saw parts of themselves, their families, and their communities reflected in the narrative poems. The poems sparked thoughtful conversations and deeper engagement with literature. It was powerful to watch students who are sometimes hesitant readers become excited to participate, discuss, and share their perspectives. Through discussions, writing activities, and reflection, students gained confidence in analyzing literature while also discovering that reading can be both meaningful and enjoyable. Many of my students are eager to read the sequel!\r\n\r\nYour donation provided more than just books; it created opportunities for connections, learning, and inspiration in my classroom.
