Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Having access to their own supplies gives young learners a sense of ownership and responsibility over their education. Items like pencil cases, printing paper, and laminating pouches will empower my students to stay organized, confidently participate in lessons, and express their understanding through hands-on activities. These tools will also allow me to create durable, reusable resources to support their learning needs throughout the year.
Because many of my students come from homes with limited means, providing these essential materials will remove barriers to learning and create a level playing field for all.
When students have the tools they need, their confidence, participation, and overall academic performance improve. This project will ensure every child in my self-contained classroom has equal access to meaningful learning opportunities, regardless of their economic background.
My goal is to create an inclusive and supportive environment where all students can thrive academically and feel proud of their progress. What makes my students special is their resilience, creativity, and eagerness to learn despite the challenges they face. They bring unique perspectives and strengths to the classroom, and your generosity will inspire them to reach their full potential.
