My Project

I teach a group of first graders who are positive, excited, eager and ready to learn each day. There are many tools needed to have success in the classroom. Here are just a few that my students and I could benefit from.

I am requesting a rolling organizer cart, pocket chart stand and a giant interactive number line chart.

The organizer cart will replace the one I currently have which is broken. Several drawers are cracked and the wheels no longer want to roll. It is where all my math materials are currently being stored and organized by units.

The pocket chart stand can easily be used for both reading and math classes. It is also the perfect height for young children to reach and can be moved around the room throughout the day. The number line chart will provide my students the opportunity to sequence numbers by 2's, 5's, 10's, etc. The pocket charts are durable enough to hold the necessary learning materials needed for the students to interact with as they learn.
