My Project

I work in a school for kids with exceptional social and emotional needs. I currently teach 8th grade boys, but the school is k-12 and we all work together. Some of the items are incentives and will be used as break time activities or reward time that is worked for. Some items to support their learning; most students are from low income households or families are not able to provide supplies for a variety of reasons. Providing supplies evens the playing field so students don't have to worry about not having what they need to learn. The books support the diversity of my students and allow them to connect to the characters so they are more invested in learning reading skills.
