My students come to me eager to learn to read and write at the beginning of kindergarten. They get so excited when the realize that they are reading but this can only happen if they can hear the sounds in the words they read and write. These strips have the most common graphemes and pictures that make that soundfor A-Z and have a second row with the long vowels, vowel-r, and the three most common digraphs ch, sh, and th. The sound folders will be great to use at journals to help as they are writing their words. The folders will also be able to taken home if needed. Thanks so much for helping us out.
