This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My B.E.T. (Business, Entrepreneurship, and Technology) magnet students, need a hammer set and a screwdriver set to help them build prototypes for their creative business ideas. At the end of the school year, students are asked to create a business, a business plan, and to create a prototype of their business idea. Students are then asked to present their business idea to a school-wide audience for a competition. Right now, students work on prototypes with the limited tools and supplies we have on hand. Students are constantly asking for a hammer and different types of screwdrivers in order to complete their prototypes. Your donation will help ensure that students have the necessary materials to have a successful school year in our B.E.T. program.
