I teach second grade at a school where students thrive on the success of each other, creating a loving environment for their classmates. Every morning, my students come to class with an eagerness to learn. They are a group of 19 amazing students who work hard to come out on top with their learning.
My students encourage each other to be the best they can be and to create a loving community throughout the classroom.
They support each other in their learning, and work hard to become great lifelong learners.
My Project
My students need a class set of homework folders. It can often be tough for second graders to keep track of their homework once it is placed in their backpacks. By having these homework folders, my class will be able to keep better track of their homework by keeping all of their pages and home resources all in one place.
These folders will serve as a resource for parents as well, by housing homework help pages to refer to.
Lastly, my 2nd graders need clipboards and a clipboard organizer to allow them to work in a comfortable space that is not their desk. These clipboards will give them a hard surface to write on as they find a cozy place to completely independent tasks.
