Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are enthusiastic learners who love coming to school each day! Over the years, the population of neurodiverse learners at my school has grown exponentially, and it is essential to provide tools for these students to succeed.
These chairs will facilitate customized seating options for students who have a harder time sitting still on the rug and focusing on instruction.
These chairs will provide a space that is unique for my students. The strong backing of these chairs is also comfortable and gives better support for those students who lack core muscle strength.
The chair organizers will make it easier for students to stay better organized, which will facilitate more time on task for learning and less time looking for materials for students who struggle with executive functioning skills. All of these items will assist all learners in my classroom to be successful!
