Getting kids up and moving during PE, and being able to sustain their attention, has been so much easier due to the materials you helped purchase. \r\n\r\nThe kids love the hopscotch and bean bags. We have come up with multiple uses for the hopscotch hoops, from their original intentions to warm-up jumps and other games the kids have invented. \r\n\r\nThere have been fiercely competitive volleyball games along with lots of happy comments about the balls not hurting their hands as they play. \r\n\r\nMy favorite component is the mesh bags that allow us to carry multiple pieces of equipment out at once.","fullyFundedDate":1726956387637,"projectUrl":"project/physical-education-is-important-too/8787689/","projectTitle":"Physical Education Is Important, Too!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Liebherr","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7235311_orig.png?crop=526,526,x0,y40&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1721004759307","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7235311"},{"teacherId":7235311,"projectId":9445675,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for thinking of my students and generously donating to this project. My students are genuinely enjoying being organized, and I am enjoying not having to wait for them to find everything!\r\n\r\nAll of their important school papers are so nicely organize in their \"binders\" as the kids refer to them. No pencils are rolling around on the ground because they all have homes in their containers. It makes a huge difference when students don't have to worry about and focus on finding their materials and instead can just focus on their assignments. \r\n\r\nThe highlighters have been a huge success, allowing students to not only be able to show where they are getting their text evidence from, but to also color code their writing, which helps them to see what they have in their writing and what might be missing. The zippered pouches are used to house their whiteboards, erasers, and whiteboard markers, again allowing them to be organized and ready for lessons.","fullyFundedDate":1752798172466,"projectUrl":"project/operation-organize-equipping-4th-grade/9445675/","projectTitle":"Operation: Organize! The purchases of the math small group materials, the mobile white board, class set of headphones, and the visual timer have all added to the success of my students this school year. \r\n\r\nThe math small group materials have enabled me to work with a small group of students during our Math Small Group time, providing them with hands-on manipulatives that have served to cement their understanding of mathematical concepts. The mobile white board has been a game changer for myself and my students. Its flexibility allows for dynamic, interactive lessons that engage all my students. It has been used for brainstorming, solving math problems, and visualizing concepts. Because of its mobility, I can use it for whole group or small group activities. \r\n\r\nThe visual timer has done wonders for my students in terms of teaching them accountability and responsibility with their time and their assignments. It is just what they needed in order to stay on top of their work. The headphones have allowed them to complete their iReady and Vocabulary lessons in peace, while staying involved and focused in their own individual learning. \r\n\r\nThank you again for your support. Your thoughtful contribution has made an immeasurable impact on our learning environment. The bean bag chairs have transformed our classroom library into a cozy, inviting space where students are excited to engage with books. It's inspiring to see them choose a spot in the library, curl up with a good book, and dive into a world of imagination. Their faces lit up when they first saw the bean bag chairs, and they have been used every single day since they arrived. \r\n\r\nEqually, the class set of *The Wild Robot* has already sparked rich discussions and a renewed excitement for reading.
