Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many of my students families were unable to purchase items like headphones and dry erase markers which can be expensive to get. Having spares on hand will help them to feel as though they are not missing out.

Headphones will be used for computer based lessons that adapt to my students needs and aiding in closing achievement gaps.

They’ll be able to listen to individualized lessons in subjects such as reading, math and science. The whiteboards are used by students to practice skills and assist me in checking their comprehension of concepts quickly and easily. Students are more apt to take risks in their learning when they know mistakes can easily be wiped away.

My students come to school eager to learn despite any set backs. They persevere, treat each other with kindness and make my “job” truly fulfilling!
