Tools for Learning: Markers, Headphones, and Chromebooks

Help me give my students dry erase markers, a Chromebook, and headphones to support interactive lessons, digital learning, and focused independent work.

My Project

I love how curious, creative, and resilient my students are. Every day, they come to class ready to learn, explore, and grow, even when faced with challenges. Their excitement for learning motivates me to provide the best resources and opportunities I can.

The dry erase markers will be used with individual whiteboards to help students practice spelling and pronunciation in a fun and interactive way.

Writing words and sounding them out while using whiteboards makes learning more engaging and helps students build confidence in their language skills.

Every student in my class has a laptop, but not everyone has a pair of headphones. Headphones are crucial for helping students stay focused when working on their district-mandated online programs. With headphones, students will be able to concentrate better, block out distractions, and fully engage with their personalized learning activities.

Finally, an additional Chromebook will open even more possibilities. It will provide a backup for students who might have technical issues and will support small group instruction, research projects, digital storytelling, and math practice. Having reliable technology available ensures that every student can work independently, collaborate with others, and develop essential 21st-century skills.

Together, these resources will help create a dynamic, supportive, and inspiring classroom where every student can thrive.
