This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are so eager to learn and financial literacy is such an important part of learning for them. They currently have a reward system in place where they earn money for specific behaviors. This money can be cashed in for a prize. However I would like to teach them the value of time and service by allowing them to cash in and use centers to increase their financial literacy.
The storage containers and bins will hold the centers and the magnetic shapes will be one center and the other will be a phonics center with the phonics wheels.
The erasers will be used in the centers as they do their work on white boards. Please help my students earn time in centers while learning about financial literacy.
