My Project

Items in this project include cushions for students to sit on to help them wiggle and stay focused. I’ve also seen students be better able to attain with the use of a wobble stool. I am currently borrowing this from another staff member and having my own will allow me to continue to help students that may need it in years to come. I’ve also been interested in having students try peddling to stay focused! While a peddle desk may be out of the realm of possibility due to cost, I’m hoping to be creative with the one I’ve selected. The pop-its are a tool I use for students to have fidgets at their seats. I stick them to the corner of their desks and they can rub them, tilt them, and pull them up and push them down. I had students a few years ago use the textured tape on their desks, and I have students this year that are picking at their fingers. I’m thinking maybe the textured tape would help!
