Tools For Growing Hearts & Minds

My Project

I would like games and sensory items for my school counseling room—a space where students come to feel safe, supported, and understood. These resources will help transform the room into a more engaging and therapeutic environment where kids can regulate emotions, build social skills, and learn healthy coping strategies. From board games that teach teamwork and communication to fidget tools and calming sensory bins that support focus and emotional regulation, each item will serve a unique purpose in helping students grow.

What I love most about my students is their honesty, resilience, and the joy they bring to each session.

Whether they're sharing their feelings for the first time, learning to navigate friendships, or just needing a break from a tough day, every child deserves a space that meets their emotional and developmental needs. These new tools will make a real difference—helping my students feel seen, empowered, and ready to return to class more confident and calm.
