My Students

Our school district is a small rural, K4-12 school with a wide range of needs, socioeconomic backgrounds, and a small school budget. My goal is to provide the best education possible to all of the students in my classroom. This is sometimes difficult due to the lack of supplies needed to help students fully understand the content. There are a few things that would make learning easier and more effective in my classroom. My 4th grade students love learning and I want to make available the needed resources to support them in this journey.

My Project

These flexible seating options will accommodate all students in my class. We currently have a couple options for flexible seating in my classroom but the students need more.

These flexible seating options are easy to move around and can accommodate any of my students.

We move around the room a lot during the day, whether my students are working in a small group, with partners or one-on-one with me. All of these flexible seating options will be able to be used in any of these scenarios.

Since incorporating flexible seating into my classroom, I have seen a positive result in attention and participation. I want to be able to give all of my students the tools that they need to learn and this is one step towards doing that.
