This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

A School Psychologist's office is a safe place for all students to regulate and re-set so they are more available for learning. I aim to create a safe environment that allows students to access social, emotional, and mental health supports. Many students enjoy using fidgets and other sensory/calming tools to help regulate their emotions. This project will allow students to not only use these tools in my space, but in their classroom environment to better cope with everyday stressors they may face.
