This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The paint brushes and squeegees requested will support the development of fine motor skills while providing students the opportunity to explore their creativity through art. Texture plates will allow students to create tactile, sensory experiences, which are especially important for learners who benefit from hands-on or multi-sensory approaches. The adaptive scissors will enable students with physical or motor challenges to participate in arts and crafts activities more independently, helping them build confidence and skill. The organizing bins will help keep supplies accessible and organized, reducing frustration and making it easier for students to focus on the creative process.

My goal for this project is to provide students with the tools they need to express themselves, collaborate with others, and explore their artistic abilities in a way that is both meaningful and accessible.

By introducing these resources, I aim to create a space where all students—regardless of their cultural background or ability—feel empowered to participate in and enjoy the learning process. What makes my students special is their diversity in experiences and abilities, which allows them to bring fresh perspectives and ideas to everything they do. These materials will help them thrive in a supportive, inclusive environment where they can experiment, grow, and learn.
