My Project

We are excited to share an upcoming project with you and invite your support in helping our Career and Technical Education (CTE) class enhance their hands-on learning experience. Our students will soon begin a unit on tools and safety, where they’ll explore the fundamentals of tool use and learn essential skills they can apply in real-life scenarios. To bring this lesson to life, we are seeking a donation of screwdriver sets, which will allow each student to gain direct experience with this foundational tool and acquire valuable skills.

By equipping our class with screwdriver sets, you would provide our students with an essential resource to practice handling tools safely and effectively.

This experience will not only deepen their understanding of basic tool mechanics but also teach them precision, coordination, and responsibility as they use tools for the first time.

Through interactive learning, our CTE students will apply these skills to a project that fosters both craftsmanship and ecological awareness: building bug hotels. These structures provide valuable habitats for beneficial insects, such as bees, ladybugs, and beetles, which play essential roles in local ecosystems. Once completed, the students will place these bug hotels around the schoolyard, creating an educational resource for the entire school community to observe and learn about the importance of living organisms.
