This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have two wonderful groups of 4th graders!! Each group has about 25 students, and I see one group in the morning and the other group in the afternoon, so I have about 50 students in my class daily who come and go---you will read how cramped it gets!

My students keep me up to date with new innovative ways to make learning fun!!

I make sure I keep them involved in their own learning process by taking their feedback and using it to make my classroom and teaching strategies better as each year passes. I want to make a difference in their lives so one day they will look back and see how I impacted their education.

My Project

Performing arts is a great way to engage students in a creative environment that enhances their creativity and allows them to think outside the box. With this seating, students will be able to work together to use their out of the box thinking and put it into play—literally. I plan on creating a nook for them, like most artists have, to sit together and brainstorm ideas and make their crativity come to life!!!! Making this area a fun and innovative space, will encourage them to test their imagination farther than they can imagine and ultimately expressing their creativity through performance and art!!
